Art by Aleksander Rostov
I've been doing a lot of shit! Only, you wouldn't know it if you rely on this blog to stay abreast of my projects (though really, unless you're committing serious crimes by violating my privacy to an extent the NSA would be jealous of, I don't know how else you'd find out about what I'm doing, AND DON'T SAY TWITTER OR ANDROMEDA STUDIOS OR DISCORD). I'm not sure why I've been so reluctant to post here; I think I'm a little self conscious about my "niche" (was ever a more vile word devised to describe art?) and how far I've deviated from my OSR roots, as well as honestly just finding it a lot more rewarding to share the things I write with the people I play/collaborate/share my life with in person.
However, I think there's real value in producing content for a more public eye; namely, it forces me to externalize all the fleshy pieces I usually store in my brain to dress my written skeletons up in. So in order to indulge myself as much as possible, I've put together a new blog.
It's a collaborative platform with content from Max of Weird and Wonderful Worlds, Semiurge of Archons March On, Spwack of Slight Adjustments, Sibylla of Devil Devil Devil, and Sofinho of Alone in the Labyrinth, as well as Wren, Rye, Adrian, and Mags, 4 lovely creatives from my actual life!
We're all going to be putting shit up there, it's going to create its OWN niche (blech) defined purely by what we happen to want to make at any given moment, and we ARE real artists and you HAVE to take us seriously and give us money, or else you're behind the times and out of touch and really what are you even doing online anyway.
In all seriousness, I'm super jazzed to be able to share a creative space with people I love and admire, and I hope you all enjoy what we do! I will still be updating Was It Likely from time to time with more full length projects, and the other members of Iconoclastic Flow are still maintaining their other web presences, but if you want to see what my brain and many other magnificent minds are full of at any given moment, then drink deep of the Iconoclastic Flow.
But wait! Surely I wouldn't have the gall to make 2 back to back posts doing nothing but promoting other platforms where I'm going to be producing stuff! You're right, I wouldn't. My gall is not yet grown to grotesque maturity, and so, dear reader, if you but follow me into the lair of the Iconoclasts, I can promise you that you will find a new game, 23 pages of social intrigue between the Lords of the lands left behind after the death of the thousand ages.
